Time out on adding 365 account


Getting a time out error on adding my 365 account.
I have created the APP password on the account and set to password and tried with the OAuth setting also.
Have matched the IMAP settings I could find online and the auto detect seemed to get it right anyway.

Any ideas here or does 365 just not play nice with it?



Port and SSL settings all correct? That is what I will be thinking of. Maybe the scope of the oauth is not sufficient but that is unlikely.

Maybe try it on thunderbird to make sure.


Yeh there is a paid plugin for thunderbird now called OWL that works - but that seems to be it.
Looks like microsoft cahnged the auth settings
