Can’t comment on VSCodium since I’ve never used it (or Visual Studio). Seems to me the most important criterion is productivity: if you’ve been using a tool for a long time so that you work efficiently with it, that’s a good argument to keep on using it!
It’s enough work to get familiar with the application that you are developing, without also having to get familiar with a new IDE. That’s the reason I use Eclipse.
